“I am still learning...”
Michelangelo, aged 87
Gail first became interested in the benefits of mindfulness over twenty years ago, particularly in relation to anxiety and depression, coming from a background in healthcare and psychiatric nursing. She has since worked in editing and various organisational roles in business and academia, recognising the positive impact of mindfulness on health and performance, especially in demanding work environments. The practical application of mindfulness techniques has become the essence of Gail's work, alongside an interest in the substantive on-going scientific research in this field. Her experience includes teacher training with the British School of Meditation and over fifteen years of yoga disciplines with their intrinsic basis in mindfulness.
